Blechnum brasiliense 'Volcano'
Blechnum ‘Volcano’ is a striking dwarf fern known for its dramatic new growth that emerges in vibrant red tones before maturing to deep glossy green. Its upright, structured fronds create a compact, architectural shape, giving it a refined tree-fern appearance while remaining suitable for indoor growing.
Perfect for bright interiors with indirect light, this fern works beautifully as a statement plant on shelves or plant stands where its colourful new fronds can be fully appreciated. It suits humid environments such as bathrooms or kitchens and adds a tropical, contemporary feel to indoor plant displays.

Blechnum Care Sheet
Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Avoid strong direct sunlight which can scorch the fronds.
Water: Keep compost evenly moist but not waterlogged. Do not allow soil to dry out completely.
Soil/Nutrition: Moisture-retentive but free-draining houseplant compost. Feed lightly during spring and summer.
Humidity: Prefers higher humidity and thrives in bathrooms or grouped plant displays.
Pruning and propagation: Remove older fronds at the base as needed. Not commonly propagated at home.
