Spring bulbs

Deadhead fading spring bulbs such as daffodils and crocus and treat them to a high-nitrogen feed so that they can gather enough strength to flower next year. Be sure to only remove the dead flowers, don't cut the leaves as these make the food that's used to feed the bulbs when they come up again next spring.
