Tillandsia ionantha Red – A striking air plant with dense rosettes of silvery-green leaves that blush bright red when in bloom. At maturity, it produces vibrant violet tubular flowers, creating a bold contrast against its fiery foliage. Compact and eye-catching, it’s perfect for terrariums, decorative displays, or mounted arrangements.

Tillandsia Care Sheet
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Tolerates some gentle direct sun, especially in the morning.
Water: Mist regularly or soak in room-temperature water for 15–20 minutes once a week, allowing to dry fully before returning to display.
Soil/Nutrition: Epiphytic – does not require soil. Feed monthly in spring and summer with a diluted bromeliad or air plant fertiliser.
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity with good air circulation.
Pruning & Propagation: Remove dried leaves after flowering. Produces offsets (pups) that can be divided once mature.
