Senecio rowleyanus 'Variegata' is a beautiful trailing succulent with bead-like leaves marbled in shades of green and cream. Known as the Variegated String of Pearls, its cascading stems make it a popular choice for hanging baskets or tall planters, where its unique form can spill dramatically.
This plant thrives in bright light and adds a playful, eye-catching element to succulent displays. With its colourful variegation and trailing habit, it is perfect for modern interiors, conservatories, or sunny windowsills.

Light: Requires bright, indirect light and benefits from a few hours of direct sun.
Water: Water sparingly, allowing soil to dry completely between waterings. Reduce watering in winter.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a gritty, free-draining cactus or succulent mix. Feed monthly during spring and summer with diluted cactus fertiliser.
Humidity: Prefers dry air – avoid high humidity and misting.
Pruning & Propagation: Trim stems to control length. Propagates easily from stem cuttings laid on soil.
