Senecio 'Himalaya'® - Himalaya Highlands is a striking succulent with slender, upright grey-green leaves that form a dense, grassy clump. It is therefore not surprising that this plant is also known as ‘Mountain Grass’. Its elegant, fine-textured foliage gives it a contemporary look, perfect for adding structure and contrast to modern plant displays or mixed succulent arrangements.
Compact yet architectural, this Senecio thrives in bright conditions and is especially suited to sunny windowsills, conservatories, or patio containers in summer. Its drought-tolerant nature makes it a resilient and easy-care choice for both beginners and collectors; you can water this plant once every two weeks.

Light: Requires bright, indirect light and can tolerate full sun once acclimatised.
Water: Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Reduce in winter.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a gritty, free-draining cactus or succulent mix. Feed monthly in spring and summer with diluted cactus fertiliser.
Humidity: Thrives in dry air – avoid high humidity.
Pruning & Propagation: Trim to maintain neat form. Propagates easily from stem cuttings once calloused.
