Prunus 'Amanogawa' is an elegant, narrowly upright ornamental cherry, prized for its distinctive columnar habit and beautiful spring blossom. In late spring, the erect branches are covered with clusters of lightly fragrant, semi-double pale pink flowers, creating a striking display without taking up too much garden space.
Ideal for smaller gardens, narrow borders, avenues, or as a graceful feature tree, this award-winning variety also offers excellent autumn colour as its green foliage turns rich shades of orange and red. Best grown in a sunny, sheltered position in moist but well-drained soil.
