Lavandula angustifolia 'Blue Spear'
Lavandula angustifolia 'Blue Spear' is a compact English lavender producing impressive deep blue-purple flower spikes above a neat, bushy mound of aromatic silver-green foliage. Its classic fragrance and vibrant colour make it a superb choice for borders, pathways and containers.
Flowering over a long period throughout summer, the richly coloured blooms are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinators. The dense flower spikes stand proudly above the foliage, providing a striking display while filling the garden with the unmistakable scent of English lavender.
Easy to grow and low maintenance, 'Blue Spear' thrives in a sunny position with well-drained soil. Its tidy habit makes it ideal for edging paths, creating low hedges or adding structure to cottage and Mediterranean-style gardens.
