Hosta 'Abiqua Drinking Gourd' is a distinctive and highly sculptural hosta, prized for its deeply cupped, blue-green leaves. The thick, heavily textured foliage forms a dense mound, with each leaf curling upward to hold rainwater like a small bowl.
Its bold, seersucker-like texture adds strong architectural interest to shady borders, woodland gardens and containers. In midsummer, sturdy stems rise above the foliage carrying soft lavender flowers, providing a gentle contrast to the dramatic leaves.
