× Heucherella 'Buttered Rum'
× Heucherella 'Buttered Rum' is a compact, clump-forming evergreen perennial grown for its richly coloured foliage. A hybrid between Heuchera and Tiarella, it produces beautifully lobed leaves in warm caramel shades throughout spring and summer before transforming to rich red tones during the colder months, providing year-round garden interest.
In summer, delicate sprays of small white flowers are held on slender stems above the foliage, adding a light, airy contrast to the colourful leaves. Its compact habit makes it an excellent choice for containers, woodland borders and the front of mixed perennial beds.
Easy to grow and low maintenance, 'Buttered Rum' thrives in partial shade with moist, well-drained soil, where its striking foliage colour can be enjoyed throughout the seasons.
