Elaeagnus × ebbingei 'Eleador' is a striking evergreen shrub grown for its bright golden-yellow foliage, attractively edged with irregular dark green margins. Vigorous and upright in habit, it provides year-round colour and structure, making it an excellent choice for hedging, screening or as a standalone specimen.

During autumn, clusters of small, highly fragrant white flowers appear amongst the foliage, filling the garden with sweet perfume and attracting pollinating insects. These are followed by ornamental orange berries in spring, adding further seasonal interest. The colourful foliage brightens even the dullest areas of the garden and contrasts beautifully with darker evergreen planting.

Tough, adaptable and tolerant of a wide range of soils and exposed conditions, 'Eleador' is particularly useful in coastal and urban gardens where reliable evergreen structure is required.
