Echinacea 'Lakota Orange'
Echinacea 'Lakota Orange' is a compact, free-flowering coneflower producing masses of vibrant daisy-like blooms in glowing shades of orange from mid-summer through to autumn. The colourful flowers are held above sturdy stems and create a striking display in borders, prairie-style plantings and wildlife gardens.
Easy to grow and remarkably resilient, this hardy perennial thrives in a sunny position and copes well with drought once established. Its long flowering season provides months of colour while attracting a wealth of bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators to the garden.
As well as being an excellent garden performer, the long-lasting blooms make superb cut flowers for indoor arrangements. The seed heads can also be left standing through autumn and winter to add seasonal interest and provide food for birds.
