Dypsis lutescens
Dypsis lutescens is a graceful indoor palm with arching fronds made up of multiple slender, feathery leaflets. Known as the Areca Palm, its airy structure and bright green foliage create a lush, tropical feel, making it an excellent choice for bringing elegance and calm to any indoor space.
This resilient palm thrives in bright, indirect light and enjoys consistent but moderate watering. With its ability to adapt well to home environments, it is perfect for living rooms, offices, or conservatories where a natural, calming ambiance is desired.

Palm Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but tolerates some shade. Avoid direct sun, which may scorch fronds.
Water: Keep soil evenly moist during the growing season but reduce watering in winter. Do not allow to dry out completely.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a free-draining palm or houseplant compost. Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced fertiliser.
Humidity: Thrives in moderate to high humidity. Mist fronds regularly to prevent browning tips.
Pruning & Propagation: Remove yellowing or damaged fronds at the base. Propagation is by seed or division but slow indoors.
