Dahlia 'Ellen Huston' is a compact, free-flowering Dahlia producing vibrant scarlet-orange blooms above attractive bronze-tinged foliage. The richly coloured flowers create a striking contrast against the dark leaves, making this variety an eye-catching addition to summer displays.
Flowering from summer until the first frosts, 'Ellen Huston' provides a long-lasting display of colour over many months. Its single flowers are attractive to bees and other pollinating insects, while regular deadheading will encourage further blooms throughout the season.
With its naturally dwarf habit, this variety is ideal for patio containers, bedding displays and the front of sunny borders. Grow in fertile, well-drained soil in a sheltered position, lifting and storing the tubers over winter in colder areas.
