Begonia 'Boomer'
Begonia 'Boomer' is a compact and colourful Begonia with crinkled leaves in deep green and burgundy toned margins, often accented with silver or red veining. Its neat, mounding habit and bold foliage make it an excellent choice for bright indoor spots or seasonal containers.

- Origins: Hybrid of Begonia rex cultivars, originally from India and Southeast Asia
Begonia Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Too much sun can scorch the leaves, while too little can dull their colour.
Water: Keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy. Allow the top layer to dry slightly before rewatering. Avoid wetting the leaves directly.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a free-draining potting mix rich in organic matter. Feed monthly during spring and summer with a diluted liquid fertiliser.
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity. Mist gently or place near a pebble tray to avoid crispy edges.
Pruning & Propagation: Remove faded leaves to keep the plant tidy. Propagates easily from leaf or stem cuttings in warm months.
