Arbutus unedo 'Atlantic' is a compact, upright strawberry tree with a naturally rounded habit, ideal for smaller gardens and container planting. Fruiting from a young age, it delivers reliable multi-season interest in a manageable form.
In early autumn, sprays of delicate white, nodding flowers appear, attracting pollinators before giving way to large orange-yellow fruits around 3-4cm in diameter. As they ripen, the fruits turn rich red, often appearing alongside the flowers, creating a striking seasonal display and providing valuable food for wildlife.
