Aquilegia vulgaris 'Heidi'
Aquilegia vulgaris 'Heidi' is a charming compact columbine producing delicate, nodding flowers in soft tones of pink and white. The elegant blooms appear in late spring to early summer, rising above neat mounds of attractive blue-green foliage and bringing a light, airy feel to borders and naturalistic planting schemes.
Easy to grow and reliable, this hardy perennial thrives in sun or partial shade and works beautifully in cottage gardens, woodland borders, or informal planting styles. The nectar-rich flowers are also highly attractive to bees and other pollinators.
