Aloe vera
Aloe vera is a well-known succulent valued for its fleshy, sword-shaped green leaves filled with soothing gel. Attractive and functional, it’s prized both as a low-maintenance ornamental plant and for its natural skin-soothing properties. Aloe Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright light with several hours of direct sun. Ideal for sunny windowsills.
Water: Water thoroughly but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry out fully between waterings.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a free-draining cactus or succulent mix. Feed every 6–8 weeks in spring and summer with a diluted cactus fertiliser.
Humidity: Prefers dry air and good ventilation. No misting required.
Pruning & Propagation: Remove old or damaged leaves at the base. Propagates easily from offsets once mature.
