Insulate patio pots

Plants in patio containers are at greater risk of winter cold damage than plants in the open ground ; plant roots in a pot are actually more exposed, and therefore liable to freezing. One way to help is to insulate the pot by wrapping several layers of bubble wrap around it. Or bring it indoors!
