Rhododendron 'Hachmann’s Feuerschein' is a striking, compact evergreen hybrid renowned for its large, fiery red flowers that glow with darker markings at the centre. Blooming in late spring, the dramatic trusses create a flame-like effect that stands out beautifully against the rich, dark green, leathery foliage.
An excellent choice for woodland-style gardens, shady borders and acidic planting schemes, this hardy rhododendron provides strong year-round structure as well as vivid seasonal colour. As an Inkarho hardy hybrid, it shows improved tolerance to less-than-ideal soils while still performing best in moist, well-drained, acidic conditions. Its nectar-rich flowers are also attractive to bees, adding wildlife value to the garden.
