Philadelphus 'Belle Étoile' is a medium-sized deciduous shrub with a bushy habit and broad mid-green foliage. From late spring into summer, it produces a profusion of open white flowers, each with a striking maroon flush at the base and a powerful orange-blossom fragrance that perfumes the garden.
A holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, this reliable variety is valued for both garden performance and cutting. Its scented blooms can be used in flower arrangements to fill your home with fragrance. Best placed at the back of borders or in sheltered spots, it attracts bees and other pollinators while providing seasonal structure and beauty.
