Clematis 'Mrs Cholmondeley' is an award-winning, classic large-flowered clematis bearing elegant purple-blue blooms with contrasting creamy stamens. The large, open flowers create a refined and timeless display, bringing soft colour and structure to vertical planting schemes.
Flowering from late spring through to early autumn, this vigorous yet graceful variety is ideal for training over trellises, arbours, pergolas or against walls. Its cool-toned blooms pair beautifully with climbing roses and other complementary climbers. As a Group 2 clematis, it benefits from light pruning to maintain shape and encourage repeat flowering.
