Clematis 'Frances Rivis' is a beautiful early-flowering clematis producing elegant, nodding violet-blue flowers in spring. The delicately shaped blooms hang gracefully from slender stems, each with a soft yellow centre that adds a gentle contrast against the cool-toned petals.
This reliable and hardy climber is perfect for training over arches, trellis, pergolas or scrambling through shrubs and small trees. Flowering in early spring, it provides colour when the garden is just beginning to wake up, followed by attractive, fluffy seed heads that add further interest later in the season.
