Astilbe 'Younique Salmon'
Astilbe 'Younique Salmon' is a compact and exceptionally floriferous perennial producing dense plumes of soft salmon-pink flowers from early to midsummer. The feathery blooms rise above neat mounds of finely divided green foliage, creating a colourful and elegant display that brightens shaded areas of the garden.
Part of the acclaimed Younique series, this variety has been bred for outstanding flower production on compact plants, delivering an abundance of blooms over a long period. Its tidy habit makes it ideal for smaller gardens, container displays and the front of borders, where its soft flower colour can be fully appreciated.
Thriving in moisture-retentive soil, 'Younique Salmon' is perfect for woodland gardens, damp borders and planting alongside ponds or water features. Easy to grow and reliable, it performs well in full sun provided the soil remains moist, though it is equally at home in partial shade. The flowers are also attractive to bees and other pollinating insects.
