Cut back established rose bushes by half to prevent wind rock. {

Give lawns a final light trim if the weather has been mild.
Flowers Greenhouse

Continue to plant bulbs & spring bedding like pansies & wallflowers. {

Now is a good time to empty the greenhouse and scrub down glass and staging with disinfectant.

{

Cut back & tidy herbaceous plants. {

A lining of bubble polythene will significantly reduce the heating bill.
{

Lift Dahlias & store in trays of moist peat. {

Cut down on watering. Most plants should be kept on the dry side.

Plant new fruit trees, bushes & cane fruit. {

Feed winter flowering pot plants with liquid feed every fortnight.
