Blackcurrant 'Ben Alder'
'Ben Alder' is a very high yielding mid-season variety that's good for vitamin 'C'. Produces small berries with excellent fruit quality and high colour stability. Bushy but fairly compact habit and very suitable for the small garden. High level of disease resistance, particularly to foliar problems. Late flowering and so escapes the late spring frosts.
