As part of our continued support for St Oswald’s Hospice during 2010, we are proud to announce the launch of their new ‘Forget me Not’ campaign which aims to raise over £10,000 to:

• Help St Oswald’s care for more adults and children with life limiting conditions.
• Pay for the ‘Everyday’ stuff like gas and electricity. Without funds to do so St Oswald’s would not exist.
• Raise money at no extra cost to you. For every £1 donated, St Oswald’s could claim £1.25 through Gift Aid.*

As a Cowell’s customer, we would love you to get involved with St Oswald’s in the same way that our own staff have.
If 200 people donate just £1 per week over the next year, together we could raise over £10,000 to meet St Oswald’s £8 million annual running costs and help people like Edward..

 

Edward’s Mum explains: “When Edward was 7 he was diagnosed with Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy. At the age of 11 he had to start using his wheelchair full time and was struggling to come to terms with this. Coming to St Oswald’s has made a huge difference to Edward, he’s made new friends, became more independent and isn’t as shy. He’s had so many positive experiences during his stays. I’m so grateful that Edward is able to access such a wonderful facility.”
